It is great news that VETASSESS is reopening of new applications for Skills Assessment of the occupations of Chef and Fitter (General) on June 12, 2024
VETASSESS is going to resume accepting new applications Chef (Commercial Cookery), ANZCO Code 351311, Chef (Asian Cookery) ANZCO Code 351311, and Fitter (General) ANZCO Code 323211.
Applications of Pathway 1 and Pathway 2 will be resumed under the OSAP and TSS programs.
VETASSESS stopped taking new applications of those occupations in September 2023 with a view to focusing on processing back lock cases.
Still pause for the following occupations:
- Electrician (General), ANZSCO Code 341111
- Metal Machinist (First Class), ANZSCO Code 323214

VETASSESS: Application fee to TRA for (OSAP) Pathway 02:
Stage 1 – Documentary Evidence Assessment: $1,120 and
Stage 2 – Technical interview: $2000

Stage 2 – Technical interview: $900.
